The EnGenius EP-801 cordless phone is not based on DECT technology and therefore does not interfere with your current WiFi networks on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. The EP-800 is designed using a '2-way radio' technique with a walkie-talkie type function between the handsets. The system can have 9 handsets per base station and a maximum of 4 base stations. These cordless phones can reach a range of 1 to 2.5 kilometers.
